Fala Chen @ Channel[V]'s CMA Awards steals limelight of Asian female stars

Yesterday Channel [V] hosted The 16th CMA Awards at the Costai Strip CotaiArena in Macau. There were nearly 100 Asian stars from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea that were invited to attend, a very star-studded event. Before the ceremony, the stars first walked the red carpet led by popular Mainland actress Yang Mi, followed by Asian Pop King Jay Chou. Other guests included Eason Chan, Sean Lau, Fala Chen, Michael Tse, Jaycee Chan, Twins and many more.

However, among the group of female stars, TVB FaDan Fala Chen stole the limelight as she walked the red carpet with Michael Tse in her sexy low-cut deep V black evening dress. Fala explained the dress was sponsored to her by Armani and was delivered from Italty. The brand already notified her in advance that the dress would be on the sexier side, but she was willing to give it a try. Fala smiled: "Just dressed prettier for the award ceremony. Because I couldn't wear my bra, so I spent half an hour putting on tape and such. (Does your boyfriend like you looking that sexy?) So pretty, why would he? (More extreme than the TVB Anniversary?) We're not there yet, we don't know yet!"

Michael and Fala were presented with the 'Best Television Actor and Actress Award (HK/Taiwan)' respectively. Twins won the 'Best Group Award (HK/Taiwan)'.

Fala Chen in 'Can't Buy Me Love' becomes educational material in primary school

Fala Chen and Kenneth Ma were part of the cast to 2010 TVB series Can't Buy Me Love. Although the series had ended long ago, the series photos were seen published on a primary school textbook in Mainland and becomes part of the education for students. Yesterday Fala's fans discovered that her photos from Can't Buy Me Love were published in a Mainland primary school textbook as a method of teaching children the traditional wedding customs. Fala was very surprised to see what her fans had shared with her. She said: "So happy, never thought we would become educational material. The wedding dress I wore in the series was an idea that originated from the Tang dynasty. (Have you ever thought about wearing this type of wedding dress in your future wedding?) It's an interesting experience wearing it in the series, but in reality, I may not do the same. Also oI don't have plans for marriage yet."

Marie Zhuge intends to enter music scene, Fala Chen sees it as healthy competition

Yesterday Fala Chen attended an event at the radio station as a singer. She frankly said she's more familiar with TV stations, and feels a tad unfamiliar on the radio station. Her debut single will be on the song charts this month, so she's feeling nervous. When speaking of the rumor that her 'sister-in-law' Marie Zhuge has intentions to release an album herself and compete with Fala on the music newcomer awards, Fala expressed: "I hope we talk about my own album. It's not convenient for me to talk about other people. (A competitive opponent?) Each year, there are many newcomers in the music industry competing, but this is positive and a healthy competition!" Fala also expressed she never heard Marie sing before, but when she launches her debut album, she'll purchase many copies to give to friends. When speaking of Marie indirectly criticizing Fala that she didn't give her a wedding gift, Fala said: "Why are we talking about this topic again? I already said it on the day of the wedding, I did give a gift. I don't want to talk too much about other things! (Are you unhappy to be misunderstood?) I don't want to talk about this topic anymore, work is work. This is a private party, I don't want to say too much. Especially in music, this is just the beginning of my career, I want to focus on my own career and don't want others to affect me. (If Marie continues to talk about it?) Not going to waste my time responding!"

Next TV Awards 2012

When Fala was taking these photos, she said she feels like a demon that just rise from a landfill, just like the Grim Reaper is coming. Indeed, when Fala is not smiling, she looks like a cool and hard to predict person. So last year when she joined the TV Queen battle, she was arranged to be the villain, using hot and spicy methods to take compete for the award. However, in the end she left with nothing and suffered from an illness that left her putting work to hiatus. "There are gains and loses to everything. Lives of Omission was well acclaimed, and I'm Happy, but later the news got me not knowing what to do. Actually it's fine for a few negative reports, but often writing bad about me is never a good thing. However, I can't control it, like when I first debuted, the reports kept saying I was flirty, but after a while, I started playing good characters and did what I had to do, now it's better. Audience can see what kind of person I am!" Currently Fala is still in the resting and restoring phase, sleeping 8 hours a day, watches DVDs, reading books and practicing her acting. She changes from the Reaper to a Goddess.
